                                           Lamborghini Revuelto engine

             Many manufacturers of high-performance cars are adopting smaller turbocharged engines to meet emissions regulations, but Lamborghini is not following that trend with the Revuelto. Instead, the Revuelto retains Lamborghini's signature style by featuring a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine positioned behind the driver.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Although the engine shares the same size as the Aventador's V12, it is a completely new unit. Not only is it 17kg lighter than its predecessor, but it also delivers more power. While the most powerful Aventador variant, the Ultimae, offered 780 horsepower, the Revuelto outdoes it with a wild 825 horsepower.

In addition to the upgraded engine, the Revuelto introduces a new dual-clutch automatic gearbox, a notable improvement over the robotized-manual transmission found in the Aventador. The previous transmission often resulted in wheel spin during launches and had harsh gear changes. The new gearbox in the Revuelto promises smoother and quicker shifts, enhancing the overall driving experience.

As the Revuelto is a hybrid vehicle, it was expected to be heavier compared to the Aventador. However, Lamborghini has implemented various measures to mitigate the weight increase. Although an official weight for the Revuelto hasn't been disclosed, Lamborghini has provided a power-to-weight ratio of 1.75kg per horsepower. Using this information, an estimated weight of approximately 1,780kg can be calculated, which is around 250kg more than the Aventador.

While Lamborghini has not officially announced the price of the Revuelto, there have been indications suggesting that it could be around £450,000. This figure would make it significantly more expensive than the Urus Performante and roughly £70,000 pricier than the Ferrari SF90.
